This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in CameraShot (the "App"). We take your privacy seriously and have designed this Application to ensure that your data remains under your sole control.

1. Introduction

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, usage statistics, or technical information from the Application to our own servers or any third parties. All data created or imported by you remains local to your device and your private cloud storage.

2. Data Storage and iCloud Sync

To provide a seamless experience across your iOS and macOS devices, the App utilizes Apple’s iCloud services (CloudKit).

• Your Content: All data you create within the App is stored locally on your device and synced to your private iCloud account.
• Encryption: Data stored in iCloud is encrypted by Apple. We cannot access, read, or modify your data stored in your private iCloud container.
• Control: You can enable or disable iCloud sync for this App at any time through your device's System Settings.

3. Camera and Photo Library Access

The Application requests access to your device’s Camera and Photo Library for the following purposes:

• Camera: To allow you to take photos to be used as backgrounds within the Application.
• Photo Library: To allow you to select existing images to be used as backgrounds within the Application.

Images captured or selected through these services are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to any servers controlled by the developer.

4. Information We Collect

• Personal Data: We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.
• Usage Data: We do not collect any usage data.

5. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

• Apple iCloud: For data synchronization and storage. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since we do not store your data on our own servers, we cannot delete it for you. You have full control:

• Deleting data within the App will remove it from both the local device and your iCloud sync.
• Deleting the App may remove local data, but data in iCloud will remain until manually deleted via your iCloud storage settings.
• To delete all data stored on your devices and iCloud, you must do so manually through the iCloud settings on your device.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. Since data is stored in the user's own iCloud account, use by children is subject to the parental controls and Apple ID policies managed by the legal guardian.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date.
